I just finished a busy 3 days at the Brisbane Finders Keepers - my first big art and design market. I was able to meet some lovely people and learn from other exhibiting artists. Overall, the feedback on my designs was very positive and it was great to get that feedback in person (it can be lonely in the freelance world)! While the experience was positive overall, it appears that the retail market in Australia is in a bit of a slump, so please ‘think small'‘ for your next purchase, as every purchase makes a big difference to a small business.
